It is with great pleasure that we announce Niklas Wiest as the new CEO of ewimed Sweden AB, ewimed Denmark A/S, and ewimed Norway AS.

We sincerely thank Tomas Jalrup for his 10 years of leadership, during which he built the Swedish market — first as fenik AB and later as ewimed Sweden — and successfully established ewimed Denmark and Norway. His dedication and many contributions have strengthened ewimed’s position as a trusted partner in the treatment of pleural effusion and ascites.

Niklas Wiest holds a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lunds Tekniska Universitet and represents the next generation of ewimed leadership. He worked at a Malmö-based company, where his leadership skills quickly advanced him from product development lead and automation integrator to planning and managing full project execution across the company’s processes. With his energetic leadership and technical expertise, he combines problem-solving ability with a passion for automation, efficiency, and innovation. Having grown up close to ewimed, he brings a deep understanding of the company’s values and, as a Swedish national, is well positioned to strengthen ewimed’s presence in the Nordic markets while continuing its tradition of patient-centered excellence.

New Sales Director of Scandinavia: Anne-Mette Rafn

Anne-Mette Rafn has been part of ewimed Denmark since its start in 2022, where her dedication, innovative ideas, and leadership have been central to building up the Danish market. A former registered nurse with broad hospital experience, she later moved into sales, spending much of her career in wound care with responsibility for the Danish market and a focus on both hospitals and home care. She has also supported teams in Norway and Sweden. With her mix of clinical knowledge, sales expertise, and leadership, Anne-Mette is well-positioned to lead ewimed’s Scandinavian sales team as Director of Sales for Scandinavia in this new era of growth.

My background has given me a deep understanding of the needs of both patients and healthcare professionals, and I look forward to leading our sales team in building strong partnerships and ensuring that our solutions reach the people who need them most.”
